Episode 10 The Unreporting of the Damon Poll Story

Fame & The Threat of Infamy

March 28th, 2018

When an infamous actor telling his side of the story that led to his demise caused more problems than it resolved, it had to be pulled from the air and is retold in this version here. This “un-reporting” uses purposely fabricated names and circumstances in order to safeguard the persons involved in the original “Damon Poll” story while exploring the effects of public shaming in an entertainment industry obsessed with fame through the lens of public figures like figure skater Tonya Harding, author Jon Ronson, and Holly's own shame inherited through her family’s DNA.
